This body of work applies the rhetorical figure of allegory, correlating the literal view of a place with an author’s personality traits and concerns. It depicts the natural landscape of the mount Egaleo in Athens and its urban surroundings, attempting to feed these images with a twofold footprint: the testimony of a journey’s selected findings, along with the photographer’s psychosynthesis and daily thoughts. A natural landscape stands for wildness and beauty, same as it could refer to a human figure.

The mount Egaleo is an area protected by barbed wire in order to keep anything wild from entering or leaving this place. The identification of this spatial entity with its author’s worldview is provided through items -such as plastic remnants, used toys, a neglected vehicle, a forgotten book- creating a suspicion of adventure, a testing of limits. These obscure stories take place while being isolated from the rest of the world.
